![]() Listening modules like the FF345 or the FF319 should also not be used with the RE524X. Similar to other translator modules this device is not meant to convert signals for life safety devices! Any existing wireless smoke, heat or CO detectors should not be used with this device. This allows a customer with existing Interlogix or GE sensors, for example, to keep the sensors, but replace their alarm panel with one manufactured by Honeywell, DSC, 2GIG, or Qolsys without having to replace all of the wireless sensors. The RE524X changes that by allowing the sensors of one manufacturer to communicate to the receiver of a different manufacturer. Although the 2GIG alarm panels support Honeywell 5800 series sensors out of the box, most alarm systems are incompatible with wireless sensors manufactured by a different company. Each manufacturer's equipment complies with rules set forth by the FCC for safety, as well as for lack of interference with other electronic devices. The management of these frequencies is handled by the FCC. It is powered by an included 12VDC power supply with a barrel connector for easy installation.Įach alarm manufacturer is given an RF frequency to use for their wireless sensors. This product is designed to convert wireless signals from one manufacturer's frequency to another manufacturer's receiver. Universally configurable to support multiple sensor-panel combinations using only two SKUs.The Resolution Products RE524X is a universal wireless translation device. Our UL compliant translators come with power supplies and back-up batteries. Our Wireless Translator can also function as a repeater for range-challenged installations. Compatible with any hardwired sensors going to the various wireless panels.8 Hardwire loops with end-of-line resistor detection.Unique wireless ID (or loop) for each zone. ![]() Unique wireless ID for the device itself. ![]()
